Abobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files:

Many reports, publications and excutive summaries are available in PDF format, which reproduces the style and layout of an original document in electronic form. PDF files are viewed using the free 'Acrobat Reader' software, which may be obtained from www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html. PDF files can be printed or read on screen, though they are generally intended for printing. PDF files are usually larger than normal web pages, so they may take longer to download. We have taken steps to optimise our PDFs for the web, by reducing the resolution of any graphics they may contain.
